How to DIY wall paneling in 7 easy steps? The complete guide

Looking for a way to start your week off in style?

Look no further than this simple guide we have prepared so you can easily install the wall paneling by yourself.

Whether you are considering renovating your home office, tv unit, living room, master bedroom, kitchenette countertop, bathroom, foyer or even refreshing the face of your house or patio into a more sophisticated, stylish and warm vibe, this article is for you.

Before we start it’s important to mention setting a budget for the wall paneling project you are about to undertake. At the end of the day, it’s a property and home décor improvement that will add more value in terms of real estate equity.

The process

1. Visualize it

Start by having a crystal-clear vision of what you want your space to look like. Sometimes sketching it down may work. Check out our inspiration gallery here.

2. Measure your wall

We do highly recommend measuring the wall using a tap measure accurately to the width and height of the wall and then double-check.

3. Sand and smooth your wall if necessary

We do highly recommend using an electric sander for best results.

4. Choose your favorite color and wall panel style

Order your sample kits here. For orders outside of the State of Florida, please reach us out directly at +1 (305) 834-9753 so we can better assist you.

5. Cut the panels

Decide how much you want to decorate depending on the size of your wall since the panels may vary in dimensions.

6. Installation

Decide if you are keeping the baseboard top and frames then proceed to install the slat panels with a level to ensure it is straight. Apply the liquid nail or silicone (whatever you prefer). Press down and leave to dry.

7. Fill in any gaps.

Voila! You just made the perfect accent wall you were dreaming of.
